The Irish Boy.
Bobby Fox is one of the brightest stars in Australia’s entertainment industry. In a career spanning musical theatre, dance and recording, he has become one of the country’s most charismatic performers. Originally from Longford, Ireland, Bobby moved to Australia in 2003 and starred in Jersey Boys, Hot Shoe Shuffle, Blood Brothers and Assassins. His Warner Music album The Fantastic Mr Fox was followed by an extensive sold-out Australian tour.
Before charming Australian audiences, Bobby was a four-time World Champion Irish dancer and traditional musician. He toured the world with Riverdance, performing at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and Radio City Music Hall.
In The Irish Boy, Bobby combines traditional and modern Irish music, dancing, storytelling and song in a celebration of his heritage and homeland. The show features “Danny Boy”, “The Auld Triangle”, “The Fields of Athenry”, “The Wild Rover”, “Black Is the Colour” and “The Star of the County Down”, brought to life through Bobby’s showmanship.
